The Four-Wheel Drive across the Beceite and the Tinença de Benifassà Mountain Passes is a circuit through nature by a 4×4 vehicle to discover unique landscapes and emblematic places of the territory that extends between the natural parks of the Ports and the region of the Baix Maestrat.
An approximately five-hour tour to explore the most interesting places in these two natural parks while enjoying the trip and contemplating remote mountain villages that still preserve an atmosphere where time seems to have stopped. The goal is to reach an emblematic setting, the Tossal del Rei, where the Automomous Communities of Aragón, Catalonia and Valencia meet.
A low-difficulty route, recommended for those little used to physical exercise who wish to explore the emblematic corners of these mountains since, except for small walks, most of the journey takes place in the vehicle, at a quiet pace and with stops along the way.
We will start out this slow-driving guided route from our Beceite office. From there we will slowly drive up towards the Port of Torremiró, where we will leave the main road to take a mountain track that will take us through singular villages, rich in history. We will stop at Herbeset, Castell de Cabres and Fredes, where a forest track will take us to the Coll de Tombadors and from here, we will head to our destination: the Tossal del Rei. At 1,356 m altitude we will have a spectacular panoramic view. The progressive descent along mountain tracks will allow us to visit enchanting places such as El Boixet and Roca del Forat de la Pastora.
