The slow-driving route by van through the Ports and the Tinença de Benifassà Natural Parks is a circuit through nature by motor vehicle to discover unique landscapes and emblematic places of the territory that extends between the Beceite Mountain Passes and the region of the Baix Maestrat.
A full day excursion to explore by van the most interesting places in these two natural parks, enjoying the trip and contemplating remote mountain villages that still preserve an atmosphere where time seems to have stopped. A culture, a way of life that are in the process of disappearing.
A low-difficulty route, recommended for those little used to physical exercise who wish to explore the emblematic corners of these mountains since, except for small walks, most of the journey takes place by van, at a quiet pace and with stops along the way.
We will start out this slow-driving guided route from our Beceite office. From there we will slowly drive up to the Port of Torremiró, where we will leave the main road to take a mountain track that will take us through quaint villages, rich in history. We will stop at Herbeset and Castell de Cabres and then take a forest trail to the town of Vallibona, nestled in the canyon formed by the Cervol River. After lunch we will visit the monumental town of Morella, with its imposing castle and walled enclosure.
